PCE - Concrete Screw

Title:

Description:

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

  • Quick and easy installation.
  • Promotes high loads.
  • Through application.
  • Its threads cut into the concrete. (4)
  • Load distributed over the entire length of the fastener.
  • There is no expansion and consequent stresses in the concrete.
  • Reduced distances between fixings and edge.
  • Removable and reusable (in a new hole). (5)
  • Identification of the dimensions on the fastener head.
  • Hole diameter equal to the nominal diameter of the anchor bolt.
  • Application using an impact wrench. (6)
  • Also available with an organometallic finish (500 h Salt Spray).

MAIN APPLICATIONS

  • Metal structures and supports.
  • Façade systems.
  • Storage and handling systems.
  • Guardrails.
  • Steel-frame structures.
  • Signage.
  • Fastening for precast systems.
  • Installations in general.

(1) tfix = thickness of the part to be fastened.
(2) The values obtained are based on the average of tests and technical specifications for 30 MPa concrete. Caution: These values are ultimate loads; always use a safety factor. For more information, see the Technical Data section on page 135.
(3) Recommended minimum distance considering the minimum embedment depth. For greater embedment depths, use the following formula: Distance between fasteners (2 × hef) / Distance from the edge (1 × hef).
(4) The thread design may vary depending on the manufacturing process, but this does not affect performance. hef – Effective embedment depth.
(5) This practice should be evaluated before taking job-specific loads into account.
(6) Recommended impact wrench: 350 N·m
