Self-piercing, internal threaded anchor bolt with percussion-controlled expansion and external expansion cone.

URA

Title:

Description:

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

  • No need to use a hammer.
  • Drilling through the anchor bolt's girth gear using a whisk and sledgehammer.
  • Expansion via mixer (sold separately).
  • High traction capacity.

MAIN APPLICATIONS

  • Fixing machinery and equipment.
  • Metal structures.
Concrete

APPLICATION METHOD

Step: 1/6
Screw the mixer into the anchor bolt and, using a sledgehammer, tap and rotate the assembly, drilling into the concrete to the indicated depth.
Step: 2/6
Clean the hole.
Step: 3/6
Place the expander cone on the back of the assembly and insert it into the hole.
Step: 4/6
With the sledgehammer, tap the assembly into the hole until it expands completely (see note above).
Step: 5/6
Remove the mixer.
Step: 6/6
Position the part to be fixed, insert the screw and finish fixing.

(1) Minimum depth.
(2) The values obtained are based on the average of tests and technical specifications on 30MPa concrete.
Attention: these values are ultimate loads, always use the safety coefficient. For more information, see the Technical Data section on page 135.
(3) Recommended minimum distance, for smaller sizes consult the technical department.
(4) Cutting resistance for G2 bolts.
